1983
Our founder's beginning
Lars Høie was awarded his M.D Degree at Aarhus University, Denmark.
1985
Medical background
Dr. Høie co-founded two medical centres in Oslo specialising in prevention and cardiovascular health.
1988
Research
Dr. Høie invented Nutrilett® and conducted initial weight loss research in 253 patients.
1991–2011
From research to global launches
Dr. Høie was main or co-author of scientific papers published internationally, collaborating with research teams at university hospitals in Europe, Australia and the US.
Dr. Høie invented other soy-based products launched internationally, including Scan Diet (US), NutriPro (Australia, NZ & Russia), and Nutri 5 (Europe).
2015–2016
Our beginning
For a year the Norvia® brand was developed, and Norvia Nutrition Ltd. was founded in Ireland.
2017-2026
International expansion
and product development
Norvia brand registrations approved internationally.
Developed reformulated, plant-based, all-natural Norvia products in cooperation with food scientists in Europe and the U.S.
Developed new all-natural, plant-based Norvia products for heart health, female health, weight management and sports nutrition.
